- swectral.vegeind.gndvi(spec_array, wavelength, axis=0)[source]#
Compute GDNVI (Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) of 2D array-like of 1D spectra data series. The calculation is based on:
Anatoly A. Gitelson, Yoram J. Kaufman, Mark N. Merzlyak, Use of a green channel in remote sensing of global vegetation from EOS-MODIS, Remote Sensing of Environment, Volume 58, Issue 3, 1996, Pages 289-298, ISSN 0034-4257, https://doi.org/10.1016/S0034-4257(96)00072-7.
- Parameters:
- spec_array2D array_like,
shape(n_samples,n_features) 2D array-like of 1D spectral data series.
- wavelength1D array_like
Wavelengths for the spectra data.
- axis
int, optional Axis of spectral data series index, must be 0 or 1. If 0, each row represents a sample spectrum.
- spec_array2D array_like,
- Returns:
pandas.DataFrameDataframe containing spectral indices of the samples.
- Return type:
DataFrame
