- swectral.vegeind.dvi(spec_array, wavelength, axis=0)[source]#
Compute DVI (Difference Vegetation Index) of 2D array-like of 1D spectra data series. The calculation is based on:
Richardson, Arthur J., and C. L. Wiegand. Distinguishing vegetation from soil background information Photogrammetric engineering and remote sensing 43, no. 12 (1977): 1541-1552.
- Parameters:
- spec_array2D array_like,
shape(n_samples,n_features) 2D array-like of 1D spectral data series.
- wavelength1D array_like
Wavelengths for the spectra data.
- axis
int,optional Axis of spectral data series index, must be 0 or 1. If 0, each row represents a sample spectrum.
- spec_array2D array_like,
- Returns:
pandas.DataFrameDataframe containing spectral indices of the samples.
- Return type:
DataFrame
